Making "Shizu" - Kenichi Kamio : Producer & Composer
It has been a while since I read "The Heart" last time and felt
some that different.
I was puzzled the way Shizu was described in the novel.
I felt Shizu was the one in the tragedy ? who drove 2 men ? teacher and his friend
K- mad but it was not properly described how she felt about in the story. Is
it the predominance of men over woman as it was said? I was trying to understand
the way that Natsume made it so but still did not figure out.
There was a phrase of Shizu ? "I don't understand it because I am
a woman" ? that was very interesting wording indeed! Women at the time
could not choose partner in fact and husband to be was arranged between families
so there must be different perspectives that women sought for men.
They must be weather or not good breed or good family or being rich. Then I realized
that it would be the same in ages.
Relationship between men and women has been in the hand of women. (Omission)
I want to see the inside of "Heart" from the point of Shizu, a Meiji
woman and a wife of the teacher.
I want to see the inside of very strong women. And I want to ask all the audiences
how the feeling of a Meiji woman echoers to men and women today.
Shizu's soul is indeed "Another Heart "? I am just
Curious to know if there is "Heart" in her.
